A brand new US festival has been launched to celebrate alternative acts who came of age in the 80s. The one-day Cruel World Festival will take place in Carson, California on May 2nd and will be headlined by Morrissey, Bauahus, Blondie, Devo and Echo & The Bunnymen, with The Psychedelic Furs, Violent Femmes, Public Image Limited, Gary Numan, Marc Almond and The English Beat also on the bill.
