JOE JACKSON will release a new album on July 23rd. ‘The Duke’ is a tribute to Duke Ellington and features new versions of 15 of the jazz legend’s classic numbers, with Jackson saying “I revere Duke Ellington, but I didn’t want this to be a reverent album”…
Jackson – who will tour the album in the USA and Europe in September and October – has also pulled in a number of guests to appear on the album, including Iggy Pop, Steve Vai, Sharon Jones and members of The Roots.
