THE HUMAN LEAGUE, JOHN FOXX, BEF, OMD, BLANCMANGE, THOMAS LEER and THROBBING GRISTLE are among the artists featured on a forthcoming 4-CD compilation, ‘Close To The Noise Floor’, which sets out to chart the origins of UK electronica and presents a vast array of acts working in that field in the late 70s and early 80s.
‘Close To The Noise Floor’ will be accompanied by extensive sleevenotes contributed by some of the artists included as well as from journalist Dave Henderson who curated the release, and is released on April 29th.
