Simple Minds have announced a sixteen-date European tour that will see them perform five songs from each of their first five albums in a special two and a half hour show. The setlist will be made up of songs from ‘Life In A Day’, ‘Real To Real Cacophony’, ‘Empires and Dance’, ‘Sons and Fascination/Sister Feelings Calling’ and ‘New Gold Dream (81, 82, 83, 84)’ and all five albums – each with bonus material, including rare and previously unreleased tracks, b-sides and remixes – will be reissued in a special boxset, also titled ‘5X5’ on February 13th.
