THE BODYSNATCHERS‘ singer RHODA DAKAR will release her former band’s debut album on November 6th. The Bodysnatchers signed to 2-Tone in 1979 and released two hit singles – ‘Let’s Do Rocksteady’ and ‘Easy Life’ – in 1980, both of which also featured in the 2-Tone movie ‘Dance Craze’ but the band never commercially released more music.
This year Rhoda Dakar has assembled an all-star band – which includes THE SPECIALS‘ LYNVAL GOLDING and SIR HORACE GENTLEMAN – to record The Bodysnatchers first ever album to mark the 35th anniversary of the band.
