THIS IS NOT RETRO SAYS…
Frankly New Order without Hooky isn’t New Order at all, but that said the new incarnation of the band were on fine form at London’s Troxy, and the return of Gillian Gilbert to the band’s line-up is both welcome and overdue.

With a setlist designed to please New Order didn’t disappoint, Bernard Sumner displaying his trademark ‘dad-dancing’ as the band rattled through hits (‘Krafty’, ‘Blue Monday’, ‘Regret’, ‘True Faith’, ‘Bizarre Love Triangle’, ‘Confusion’), fan favourites (‘Elegia’, ‘5-8-6’, ‘1963’) and a rousing version of Joy Division’s ‘Love Will Tear Us Apart’.

WE’LL GIVE IT…
