CABARET VOLTAIRE start a series of reissues with a new vinyl edition of their 1981 album ‘Red Mecca’ next week. The series will continue with a ‘Collected Works 1983 – 1985’ boxset release in the autumn featuring remastered editions of ‘The Crackdown’, ‘Micro-Phonies’, ‘Drinking Gasoline’ and ‘The Covenant, The Sword and the Arm of the Lord’ alongside bonus CDs and DVDs. The final release, ‘Electro Punk to Techno Pop 1978 – 1985’, is expected next year.
